Your castle is a giant robot. Keep it alive.

Bugs swarm out of the dark. Gather stone, wood and gems, build towers and modules, then transform your castle into a mecha and smash everything that comes near.

Pick your king, green or red, and hold out through endless castle levels. Each one gives you more room for modules, so you can keep building. Every kill counts toward your final score.

  • Castle ↔ mecha: fortress mode to build, war form to fight.
  • Build your defense: archery, fire, walls, catapults and more. Every repeat of a module costs a bit more.
  • Gather to grow: trees, quarries and gem crystals feed your economy and your XP.
  • Endless levels: no final level, just how long you can last.
  • Phosphor CRT look: voxel world, retro terminal UI, 7 languages (EN, ES, ZH, FR, KO, PT, JA).

How to play

Castle form (build)

  • Tap or click a green ring on the ground to gather resources.
  • Tap a building spot to choose a tower or module. If you're short on a resource, the game tells you which one.
  • Battlements make the castle harder to bite

Mecha form (fight)

  • C or the Castle/Mecha button transforms your fortress.
  • Move: WASD / arrow keys, or drag on the screen.
  • Strike: Space, or tap.
  • Run: hold the Run button.
  • Roll: dodge and crush small bugs.
  • Pause: top-left button.

Tip: your mecha's hull is your life bar. Go mend, and let the towers hold the line.

Best played in portrait, on desktop or mobile

Made with AI

Kingbots was designed and directed by LCB Game Studio (Nico Saraintaris, Fernando Martínez Ruppel), and built with AI tools:

  • Claude Code (Anthropic, Opus 5.5): most of the code, the game systems, the UI, localization, and the trailer and store media pipeline.
  • ChatGPT (OpenAI, GPT-6 Astra): concept art and image generation.

All the game design decisions, balancing, art direction and playtesting are ours. The AI wrote code and generated assets under our direction.
